Rye Bay Scallop Week 15th – 23rd February

With all this rain about at the moment,  there is one little creature that simply loves water – the Scallop!

It is only a couple of weeks before the start of Rye Bay Scallop Week and here at Strand House we will be doing our famous “Scallop Breakfast” of the little fellows wrapped in bacon with black pudding and a freshly cooked egg on the side.

At the weekends, Mary will be cooking dinner and there will be a variety of Scallop dishes on the menu including her famous Scallops in a Sweet and Sour Cream Sauce.
