Winchelsea Farm Kitchen

Winchelsea’s has a local general store called Winchelsea Farm Kitchens which is situated in the High Street about 2 minutes walk from Paradise Mews.  It supplies basic groceries, milk, bread, butter, some fruit and veg, batteries, newspapers and a range of fancy goods. You can get a coffee to drink in the courtyard and pick up local information. It is run by Nathan and Danny who will give you a warm welcome. Opposite the shop is an old fashioned red telephone box which actually works! Outside the shop is the town Post Box.

Winchelsea Beach Co-Op

The Co-Op store is down on Winchelsea Beach along Sea Road about 2 miles away. It is a great little convenience store and will stock pretty much everything you could think of for your holiday. It stocks fresh, canned and frozen foods, a wide range of groceries, household goods, newspapers and magazines and seasonal items. The nearest Post Office is located at the rear of the store which is open everyday and there is a cash point outside so that you can get money out of hours.

Icklesham Village Store

Just as you drive into Icklesham, on the right hand side beside the Pelican crossing, is the Village Store. It is in a garage alongside a house, but if offers a wide range of food, groceries and household goods, basic essentials and is staffed by a friendly group of Ickleshamites.

Rye Shops

Budgens is in Rye, opposite the railway station and offers a wide selection of typical supermarket goods, including fresh fruit and veg, fish and meat. It has a paid car park for parking up to 2 hours with money off when purchasing in-store. The main Rye Post Office is on the corner of the Budgens building facing the railway station.
