Heritage steam railway
This heritage railway line runs from Tenterden through Northiam down to Bodiam. It runs a series of historic steam engines and heritage carriages including a Pullman Dining train. The main station at Tenterden has a historic Railway Cafeteria, a museum and other attractions, while the station at Northiam has an exhibit of the wagon that brought the Unknown Warrior back to London at the end of the Great War as well as the body of the nurse, Edith Cavell. The final station of the line is at Bodiam which allows you to visit Bodiam Castle after a short walk.
