A holiday home with dog friendly rooms
If you are a dog owner and want to bring your little friend(s) with you, they can stay in your room. We aim to provide a holiday home which has dog friendly rooms that you all can enjoy. The ground floor rooms are suitable for dogs, they have space in the sitting room for dog beds, have an outside seating area and patio doors and we can provide water bowls and doggy treats for our canine guests. The floors are carpeted in the bedroom, wooden in the sitting room and stone in the bathroom, so muddy paws should not be too much of a problem.
A holiday home dog friendly rooms and so much more
There are plenty of dog walks in the area close to the cottage, as the town of Winchelsea is very pretty and well provided with dog poop bins or you can walk down the towpath of the Royal Military Canal if you want a country stroll. If you walk far enough you can reach the sea at Fairlight. Parts of the beach at Winchelsea are open all year to dogs and the sandy beach at Camber is open in the winter. But there are plenty of walks from the holiday home through the countryside, especially down the Brede Valley to Icklesham.
You are not short of places to eat, the New Inn in Winchelsea, the Queens Head in Icklesham, the Ship Inn, Globe In Marsh and Standard in Rye and the Plough at Cock Marling all welcome dogs and their owners.
There are a number of attractions in the local area that accept dogs, we particularly like Marle Place Gardens, Bodiam Castle and of course they can travel on the Kent and East Sussex Railway at Tenterden.
